1. Cleaning:
   • Gentle Washing: Always use a mild detergent to wash the flag to reduce fading. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals that could harm the colours.
   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is necessary, select a gentle cycle with cold water. Place the flag in a mesh laundry bag to protect it from snagging.
   • Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it to air dry. Avoid tumble drying, as high heat may shrink or damage the fabric.
2. Storage:
   • Proper Storage: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing. Keep it in a cool, dry, and safe place to prevent moisture damage.
3. Folding the Egypt Flag:
   • Start with a Clean Surface: Place the flag on a flat, clean surface to prevent dirt or debris from getting trapped in the folds.
   • Lay the Flag Flat: Spread the flag out fully, ensuring that it is completely flat with no wrinkles.
   • Fold in Half Lengthwise: Take the right edge and fold it over to the left, aligning the edges evenly. Smooth out any wrinkles that may form during this step.
   • Fold Again Lengthwise: Repeat the previous step by folding the flag in half again, making sure the edges align perfectly. This creates a long, narrow strip.
   • Create Triangular Folds: Starting at the hoist (the side with the loops or sleeve), fold the flag over itself diagonally to form a triangle. Make sure to align the edges as you fold.
   • Continue Folding: Keep folding the triangular flap over itself, creating a series of triangles along the length of the flag until you reach the end.
   • Secure the Fold: Once you have folded the entire flag into a triangle, tuck the loose end into the folds to secure it and prevent it from unraveling.
   • Final Arrangement: Adjust the flag to ensure it is neatly compacted and symmetrical for easy storage or display.
4. Handling:
   • Avoid Sharp Objects: Keep the flag away from sharp objects or rough surfaces that may cause snags or tears.
