To maintain the longevity and vibrant appearance of your product, please adhere to the following care instructions:

1. Cleaning:
   • Wash Gently: Use a mild detergent to wash the flag and avoid bleach or harsh chemicals that may cause fading.
   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is required, select a gentle cycle with cold water. Place the flag in a mesh laundry bag to prevent snagging.
   • Drying: Air dry the flag by laying it flat or hanging it up. Refrain from using a tumble dryer, as high heat can cause shrinkage and damage.
2. Storage:
   • Proper Storage: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing. Keep it in a cool, dry place to maintain its condition.
3. Folding the Armenia Flag:
   • Lay Flat: Spread the flag out on a clean, flat surface with the red stripe at the top.
   • Initial Fold: Fold the flag lengthwise, bringing the bottom edge up to meet the top edge. Ensure that the colours align perfectly.
   • Second Fold: Fold the flag lengthwise again, so that the edges are even, and the flag is now a long, narrow strip.
   • Final Folds: Starting from one end, fold the flag in a series of triangular folds towards the other end. The triangles should be approximately the same size as the width of the flag.
4. Handling:
   • Avoid Sharp Objects: Keep the product away from sharp objects and surfaces that could cause snags, tears, or abrasions.
   • Secure Installation: Ensure the flag is properly hoisted and not touching the ground.
   • Flag Exposure: Reduce exposure to harsh weather conditions by taking the flag down during extreme weather and overnight.
5. Repairs:
   • Minor Repairs: For small issues like tears or fraying, replace the flag with a spare and have the damaged one professionally repaired.
   • Replacement: Replace the flag when it shows signs of significant wear to ensure it always represents your pride effectively.

Flying the Armenia Flag:

• Raising the Flag:
  • Attach the flag to the halyard (flag rope) and ensure it is securely fastened.
  • Begin raising the flag slowly and steadily. Ensure it reaches the top of the flagpole without touching the ground.
• Displaying the Flag:
  • When displayed vertically, position the red stripe at the top.
  • Ensure the flag is fully extended. Keep it taut to prevent it from flapping excessively in the wind.
• Flying the Flag Half-Mast:
  • To fly the flag at half-mast, first raise it to the top of the flagpole, then lower it to the halfway point. Ensure the flag is in a horizontal position and is not twisted or folded.
  • After the period of mourning, raise the flag back to the top of the pole before lowering it.
• Flag Etiquette During Sunrise and Sunset:
  • Raise the flag at sunrise, ensuring it is unfurled and fully visible.
  • Lower the flag at sunset, ensuring it is done carefully to avoid touching the ground.
  • If the flag is illuminated by lights, it may be flown at night. Ensure it is properly lit and maintained.
• Weather Conditions:
  • Avoid flying the flag in severe weather conditions such as heavy rain, strong winds, or snow to prevent damage.
  • If weather conditions are adverse, take down the flag to protect it and avoid wear and tear.
• Retirement of the Flag:
  • When the flag becomes worn, faded, or damaged beyond repair, it should be retired respectfully.
  • The flag should be replaced with a new one, and the old flag should be retired by a ceremonial burning or a respectful method in accordance with local customs.
