1. Cleaning:
   • Gentle Washing: Use a mild detergent when washing your flag to protect its colours. Avoid bleach or strong chemicals that could cause fading.
   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is necessary, select a gentle cycle with cold water. Placing the flag in a mesh laundry bag will help prevent snags.
   • Air Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it up to air dry. Avoid using a tumble dryer, as high heat may cause shrinking or damage the fabric.
2. Storage:
   • Proper Storage: The flag should be completely dry before storing it. Keep it in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture damage and mildew.
3. Folding the South Africa Flag:
   • Lay the Flag Flat: Place the flag on a clean, dry surface with the design facing upward for proper alignment during folding.
   • Fold Lengthwise: Bring the bottom edge up to meet the top edge, the colours should remain visible and aligned.
   • Fold Again Lengthwise: Repeat the previous step, folding the flag once more along its length, keeping the central design intact.
