   • Machine Wash: If machine washing is required, place the flag inside a mesh laundry bag and select a gentle cycle with cold water to prevent any damage.
   • Drying: Lay the flag flat or hang it up to air dry. Do not tumble dry, as high temperatures can shrink or harm the fabric.
2. Storage:
   • Proper Storage: Ensure the flag is completely dry before storing to prevent mould or mildew. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
3. Folding the Jamaica Flag:
   • Position the Flag: Begin by laying the flag face down on a clean, flat surface, ensuring it is smooth and wrinkle-free.
   • First Lengthwise Fold: Bring the two long edges together to create a lengthwise fold, ensuring the yellow diagonal lines are aligned in the centre.
   • Narrower Lengthwise Fold: Fold the flag in half again lengthwise, resulting in a narrower rectangle.
   • Create Triangular Folds: Starting from one end, fold the bottom corner of the flag up to meet the top edge, forming a triangular shape. Press down firmly to create a crease.
