We are thrilled to share the details of an exciting project our team at Evan Evans recently completed for Paramount+, as they launched the highly anticipated show, Top Gear Australia, on May 17, 2024. Our colleague Dan Butler was instrumental in coordinating this event, ensuring that every visual element was perfect for this high-octane celebration at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Project Overview
To celebrate the premiere of Top Gear Australia on Paramount+, hosts Blair Joscelyne, Beau Ryan, and Jonathan LaPaglia invited media, business partners, social media influencers, and Supercars drivers for an unforgettable evening. The event was a spectacle of sleek, customized cars, thrilling hot laps, and live broadcasts, making it a night to remember.
Event Highlights
Guests were welcomed on a blue carpet with music by DJ Trey, setting the stage for a night of automotive excitement. They enjoyed a variety of gourmet food from Gass’d Pizza, Turkish Gozleme Catering, and StroopBros Waffles while admiring cars from TUNED.
The hosts made a grand entrance by helicopter, courtesy of Sydney Heli Tours, while The Stig arrived in a Paramount+ branded V8 race car, ready to take guests for adrenaline-pumping hot laps around the track. Triple M’s The Rush Hour broadcasted live, capturing all the action.
Network 10’s Angela Bishop introduced the new season with a highlight reel, followed by an entertaining interview with the hosts and The Stig. Throughout the night, guests enjoyed V8 race car experiences by Fastrack Experience and were thrilled by the Airtime Freestyle Motocross Team’s high-flying stunts and pyrotechnic displays.
