At Evan Evans, we believe signage is more than just branding—it’s storytelling.
We were honoured to contribute to the important “Blak Women’s Healing” exhibition at Arts House, curated by Dr Paola Balla, with full signage solutions managed by our experienced Account Manager Dan Butler.
This project—commissioned by the City of Melbourne—showcased not just the technical capabilities of our team, but our respect for the cultural significance of the work displayed.
Full Service, Delivered with Care
In preparation for the exhibition launch on 23 April 2025, the Evan Evans team provided a complete signage solution including:
Pre-site inspections and careful measurements of the historic Arts House windows and walls
High-quality production of custom-designed window decals and internal clear self-adhesive vinyls
Delivery, site coordination, and professional installation — all timed to respect the sensitive exhibition opening schedule
The installed graphics included powerful bush-dyed fabric imagery and storytelling visuals, printed on clear SAV (self-adhesive vinyl) for internal display, and removable SAV for external panels.
A Celebration of Healing, Storytelling and Solidarity
“Blak Women’s Healing“ brings together the collective journeys of Aboriginal women, sharing stories of survival, trauma, and community strength.
It was a privilege for our team to ensure that every image was installed precisely and respectfully to honour the artists’ and curators’ vision.
“Signage isn’t just seen—it’s felt. We’re proud to help make these stories visible.”
